Hlomelang Marketing was established as an energy company with the primary focus being on alternative renewable products. The acquisition of A.N.T Proprietary Limited(Information Technology), allowed for great synergy with Hlomelang as we found the three companies shared, in the main, a common customer.
Hlomelang’s commenced business as a small manufacturing and trading company and soon established its leadership role through the development and introduction of quality products. Hlomelang has been passionately committed to quality, preserving our environment and ensuring the health and safety of all our stakeholders.
In 2009 Hlomelang moved to new premises which allowed us to optimise our operations and logistics to lay the platform for rapid future growth. Each of these areas has its own range and specialists, allowing the company to provide highly effective and appropriate solutions to these areas. Hlomelang established a presence in three major countries in Africa, and this has grown significantly. The products and brand is growing rapidly in Africa and Hlomelang is focusing on this expansion into the future.
Hlomelang Marketing (Pty) Ltd, manufactures ethanol gel fuel and lamp oil under the brand name of BIO POWER. Stoves and oil lamps are procured from local companies. An allied product, Kasolide, is a proprietary blend of superior aerobic and anaerobic bacteria selected for their ability to degrade organic waste. The product is used as a toilet waste solution for septic tanks and pit latrines in areas where there is poor or no sanitation.
The company has appointed distributors to sell its products in South Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola and Cameroon. In the next two years, we see ourselves as a commercially successful global company based in South Africa with a strong footprint in the continent, inspiring and supporting entrepreneurship in Africa.
